Make sure that the controller's battery is not broken or defective. Connect the controller directly to the console and check if it is charging properly.

Check to see if the USB power adaptor is properly connected and functioning. Also be sure to use the ON/OFF button to ensure the charge mode is activated.

Even when you only want to use the USB hub to charge a device, incompatibilities can arise. It is possible that a product may indeed come with a USB port for charging. However, the manufacturer's proprietary technology can still be required to charge the device. In this case, please use the supplied charger and refrain from charging this product with the Power Station.

Make sure that the device is fully compatible with the PlayStation®3. To verify this, connect it directly to the console.

In principle, incompatibilities can arise through the mere use of a number of different USB devices so it’s possible that one of your devices will not work with the Power Station  If this happens, connect a different device to the Power Station; chances are it’s the device and not the Power Station that’s the problem.
